Trail Runs - Lost Coast

The "Lost Coast", located between Fort Bragg & Eureka, is one of the only places in California where there is no highway right along the ocean. This makes it one of the most secluded & scenic coastal areas in California, and one of my favorite places to wheel.

10/19/02 - 10/20/02
There were nine Jeeps total on this run, 8 TJ's & one WJ. We were hoping for a little mud, however a lingering summer had kept this place very dry & dusty. The warmer temps did help burn away the fog & exposed coastine that normally can't be seen, which made for some amazing photos. This was also my son's first Jeep run, and he loved it.

3/29/02 - 3/30/02
In contrast to the year before, the weather was clear & sunny, which allowed for some nice viewing of the coast & ocean. Only two Jeeps on this run, but sometimes smaller groups seem to work better when exploring the trails.
